Tasks

-Consolidate and build pallets, shrink wrap pallets, load products on to trailers by hand or Stand up forklift. -Checks filled orders prior to delivery or pick up to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order. -Pulls orders from inventory, manually and/or utilizing forklift. -Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer, as appropriate. -Prepares materials for delivery to and/or pick up by customers. Packs materials in boxes or on pallets (as appropriate), and labels accordingly. -Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the work group. -Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags. -The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

What You Bring

-Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills -Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices. -Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes. -High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred. -Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) -Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency. -Must be available for daily overtime -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required. -Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. -Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. -Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications. -Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. -Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
