The Role
Overview
Deliver, assemble, and install data centre racks and cabling at client sites
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Ensure company vehicles and tools are kept in safe, clean, and serviceable condition. -Mount and secure hardware including servers, switches, and patch panels. -Maintain delivery and installation logs and submit documentation promptly. -Work collaboratively with data centre engineers, IT staff, and project managers. -Follow all site health, safety, and security procedures. -Route, label, and manage network and power cabling neatly and effectively. -Safely transport and deliver racks, cabinets, and related equipment to data centre and client sites (using company vehicle). -Assemble and install data centre racks, cabinets, and containment systems according to layout plans and specifications. -Inspect and test installations to ensure alignment with quality and safety standards.

What You Bring
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Data Centre Rack Installer & Delivery Technician to join our growing technical installation team. The role involves delivering, assembling, and installing data center racks, cabinets, and associated equipment across client sites. This position is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, good physical fitness, and attention to detail, who enjoys hands-on work and travelling to different locations. -Basic electrical awareness (e.g., understanding load limits, grounding, and PDU connections). -Ability to read and interpret rack elevation drawings and technical diagrams. -Competence in cable management, labeling, and equipment mounting. -Full UK Driving Licence (required). -Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. -Flexible and willing to travel to various client sites. -Good physical condition – able to lift and manoeuvre heavy equipment safely.
