Tasks

-Accountable as line manager for others. -Generation of project opportunities by building strong effective working relationships with our customers and site teams. -Lead the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings. -Handle high levels of information from a wide range of sources -Support development of team members -Ensure projects are delivered on all maintenance contracts. -Liaise with colleagues managers to determine and identify project opportunities. Create case studies to promote business and host key decision makers on show site tours. -Maximise profit through cost reductions and better buying of subcontractor services. -Responsible for generating and securing new sales to exceed the annual financial plan. -Manage people issues and underperformance -Promote and maintain the core values of CBRE. -Plan and develop long term opportunities by creating a pipeline of opportunities. -Complete projects in line with local playbooks on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties. -Incumbents will be required to travel on occasions to support operational delivery, and participate in training and business review. Some overnight stays may be needed. -Negotiate contractual obligations and disputes upstream and downstream -Identify and win project through effective relationships. -Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities. -Identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project. -Ensure compliance with CBRE health and safety policy and process whilst ensuring that they are effectively implemented across both CBRE and its subcontractor’s activities. These are to be regularly audited and reviewed. -Deliver supportive business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other applications as appropriate. -Contribute to Business unit strategy development -Deliver contractual commitments on secured projects. -Chair monthly and ad hoc project review meetings covering all aspects of Health & Safety / CDM Legislation and requirements. -Ensure the safe delivery of projects through the management of risk and competence. -Develop and manage all bids, tenders and proposals. -Delivery wider strategy and new process delivery across projects business ensuring compliance with projects business governance. -Manage Business unit forecast -Recruit and retain talent for the present delivery and future growth of projects.

What You Bring

-Proven track record safely delivering exceptional projects in either an M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments. -Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy -Proven experience of running a P&L -Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments. -Has vision, and able to communicate this effectively. A role model for customer service excellence. -Experience of developing new project opportunities -Experience of creating, presenting and managing on bids, tenders and proposals. -APM certified (desirable) -Degree level qualification in Project Management (desirable) -Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills -Nebosh certified -Compliance with CBRE management policies and procedures. -Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team -Highly organised with attention to detail -SMSTS certified -Prince 2 certified (desirable) -Degree level qualification within project management, construction management or equivalent (desirable) -Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity -Ability to network -Incumbents must have a high level of energy, be self- starters, confident and stable in manner. -IOSH (desirable) -Highly motivated and self-aware -Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar (desirable) -Able to contribute effectively across all business activities. -Ability to influence -CSCS card holder -Ability to inspire confidence
