Tasks
-Serve as the technical lead on a small number of highly complex projects that require specialized knowledge in many areas. -Evaluate, develop, and implement solutions for projects that have significant financial and operational impact on our clients. -Act as an expert witness or provide expert opinions for internal committees or regulatory proceedings as required. -Lead teams in developing complex studies, plans, criteria, and design documents associated with the planning, design, licensing, and operation of T&S facilities. -Make a tangible difference in the energy industry and contribute to the resilience of critical infrastructure. -Provide detailed technical training, mentorship, and peer review to other engineers within PowerRise and our client organizations. -Participate in technical and industry societies and committees (e.g., IEEE, CIGRE) to enhance knowledge of new technologies and influence industry standards. -Published technical documents or leadership roles in recognized industry committees. -Participate in creating, updating, and applying internal and industrywide standards and technologies in your specialized area of expertise. -Provide expert consultation and recommendations to clients as a result of studying their systems, processes, or equipment. -Lead and perform assignments in specialized areas requiring extensive engineering expertise, such as power system studies, protection scheme design, or equipment specification.

What You Bring
-Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred. -10+ years of professional engineering experience with a thorough knowledge and recognized expertise in a unique area of T&S engineering. -A working knowledge of advanced analysis software packages (e.g., CYMDIST, PSS/E, Python, PSCAD, MATLAB). -Master of Science degree in Engineering. -Prior experience as a technical lead on medium and largescale engineering projects. -Proven ability to apply advanced engineering principles to identify and resolve complex, multifaceted issues. -Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related engineering discipline. -Demonstrated ability to lead and perform assignments independently and lead multidiscipline teams. -Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to a variety of audiences.
