Tasks

-Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer within the organization. -Lead technical reviews of RFPs and gap assessments for hydrogen projects, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements and recommend best practices -Perform other duties supporting hydrogen and clean energy innovation as assigned. -Partner with OEM partners, integrators, and EPC contractors to qualify and implement hydrogen and electrolyzer technologies -Lead a team of 5 field application engineers to deliver results against target -Manage technical aspects of the sales process, including filling out RFPs, representing Plug Power in front of clients as subject matter expert, and review technical guarantees in contracts -Develop technical proposals and feasibility assessments in collaboration with sales, engineering, and product management teams. -Gather market intelligence and translate them into clear and concise requirements that can be used by product teams to develop products. -Represent the company professionally with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. -Identify and define hydrogen system solutions—including electrolyzer systems, fuel cells, and balance-of-plant equipment—for various customer applications.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and technical writing skills. -5+ years leading a team of engineers -Strong project management background and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives to completion. -7+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within hydrogen production, electrolyzer systems, or clean energy technologies. -Willingness to travel up to 30% to customer and project sites. -Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering; a master’s degree preferred. -Strong commitment to safety, quality, and professional integrity.
