The Role

Lead architect overseeing residential projects, managing a team and client relationships

Tasks

-Provide and maintain high standards of design, construction and contract management. -Provide leadership, management and direction to a team. -Acting as Lead Consultant, management consultants employed by our client(s) ensuring the delivery of their work is on programme. -Provide architectural advice to clients. -Effectively assess team strengths and help delivery their abilities and potential. -Lead by example to staff members in terms of drive and commitment to role. -Check drawings and specifications prepared by ATP and the consultant team, for coordination, technical accuracy and compliance with appropriate standards. -Oversee a team of Architects and Technical staff. -Prepare technical documentation and oversee the production of drawings. -Provide full ‘Architect’s Service’ as described in the RIBA Plan of Work and the ‘Standard Form of Agreement for the Appointment of an Architect’. -Support colleagues in maintaining standards and ensuring all round compliance. -Reporting regular updates to our client on behalf of our consultants.

What You Bring

-Versatile use of media in the development and documentation of design projects. -Strong leadership skills -Knowledge of the planning process, policies, building regulations, NHBC standards and all-over technical standards. -Understanding of construction technologies -Advanced use of AutoCAD and Revit in preparation of architectural drawings. -Evidence of excellent design and technical understanding. -Strong stakeholder management skills.
