Tasks

Begin your day in our brand new flagship Brisbane showroom, where your focus is helping customers bring their ideas to life. You’ll greet designers, architects and renovators/homeowners guiding them through the Laminex product range with warmth and confidence. This role is all about creating meaningful customer experiences—whether in person or through thoughtful follow-up—and helping people feel excited and informed about their projects. -Assisting with key trade and customer events. -You will bring a positive attitude to every interaction and take a proactive approach to supporting customers and the team -Keeping the showroom inviting and well-presented, with samples and displays ready to explore. -Listening to customer needs and helping them choose colours, finishes, and styles that suit their space. -Offering inspiration and practical advice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and more. -Reaching out to architects and designers via phone and email to share updates on our latest offerings. -Using our CRM system to maintain visit records and keep client information up to date.

What You Bring

We're seeking passionate individuals who share our love for design and innovation to join us as Part-time Showroom Consultant. This role requires showroom experience, a customer-first mindset, and the confidence to take initiative when needed. -Well-presented, approachable, and experienced in a customer-facing role. -Be a team player and be willing and able to jump in and help on a range of tasks with the team. -Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design – or the willingness to obtain and continually learn with the team. -You will ideally have prior showroom, colour consulting or building products experience where you are confident in guiding customers through design choices with warmth and clarity.
