  • Contribute to the definition of optimized and competitive MV/LV power systems architecture based on Schneider Electric catalogue and contribute to the definition of innovative electrical distribution architectures of the future
  • Build appropriate studies, and materials to promote our solutions emphasizing on differentiation and customer benefits
  • Contribute to technical discussions with customers to capture actual application needs
  • create highly valuable content to promote & prescribe through workshops & trainings SE solutions (RD, whitepapers, webinars, conferences papers)
  • Upon request from segments organize and deliver technical support to internal sales and tendering organization
  • convert those requirements in power systems architectures magnifying Schneider Electric strengths and creating a new opportunity for future evolutions of the product portfolio
  • develop state-of-the-art architectures to reinforce Schneider Electric competitiveness
  • support our most valuable customers and ecosystem partners with high level expertise in power systems, protection plans (MV/LV), power automation, monitoring, and control
  • engage high level discussions with customers to capture expressed and unexpressed requirements
  • Provide applications insights and customer requirements to the further roadmap development

  • Power systems expertise

  • Very good knowledge of SE offers (MV, LV, UPS, monitoring & control, relays) and familiar with the new energy landscape technologies (BESS, fuel cell, …)
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication and presentation skills required
  • PhD in Engineering preferred
  • 3+ years working Heavy Industrial Segments (Mining, Water/Wastewater, Oil & Gas, etc)
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license strongly preferred
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering or the equivalent of 15+ years of experience in electrical industry application development
  • Understanding of new energy landscape topics inclusive of source management, load management, direct current, power conversion.
  • 3+ years working with Strategic Accounts
  • 5+ years experience in electrical system design
  • Strong knowledge in power systems engineering (network simulation, protection, AC & DC power electronics conversion, power quality, reliability)
  • Understand customer applications and process (key performances indicators, constraints, operation, customer roles & responsibility)

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $161,000 - $241,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
