The Role
Overview
Diagnose, maintain, repair and overhaul commercial chiller systems (up to 600 tons).

Tasks
-Perform chiller overhauls, major inspections, retrofits as required by customer -Ongoing/constant contact with Sr. Managers, Technical Specialist, Project Managers, Construction Dept Managers, Finance, Sales Dept, Customers and Vendors. All activities related to customer support. -Provide training to junior team members -Support and implement a plan to achieve the objectives for the Service department. -Maintain record of work performed and parts/materials used -Initiates and assists in the development and presentations of programs which address important goals of the company such as supervisory and employee development and promoting positive employee relations. -Generates, maintains and provides reports as required. -Responsible for diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, overhauls and operation of all electro-mechanical systems and equipment for commercial chiller systems. -Engage in teamwork to promote continuous organizational improvement to support Pro Tech business initiatives.

What You Bring
-Strong operational understanding of logistical concepts in the Commercial HVAC business. -ASEE or equivalent combination of education and technical experience. -Have working knowledge of schematic reading. -5+ years experience servicing both water and air cooled chillers up to 600Tons -Ability to work on the following equipment brands: Trane, Carrier, York, and McQuay Centrifugal. -Leadership capabilities. Effective communication and language skills; verbal and written. Good organizational skills. -Valid Driver’s license and acceptable background check -PC skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, projects and presentation software.
