Tasks

-Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and university recruiting programs to build brand awareness and attract new talent. -Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of talent for current and future roles. -Manage the full recruitment cycle — from job posting and candidate outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding. -Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. -Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager and leadership teams to continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience. -Represent the company’s brand and culture to candidates and within the AEC community. -Utilize various sourcing tools, platforms, and techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, etc.) to identify top talent. -Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS). -Source, attract, and engage qualified engineering and technical candidates across the AEC industry.

What You Bring

Civil Science evaluates and determines on a case-by-case basis whether it is willing to sponsor an individual to receive a temporary or permanent work visa (e.g., E-3, H-1B, H-1B1, or TN visa status). Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass both a criminal background check and driving record review. Civil Science is seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Recruiter with a background in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sourcing and hiring top talent, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, and partnering closely with hiring managers to meet critical staffing needs. This role also includes opportunities to represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to attract high-quality candidates. -Experience recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles within an engineering or construction environment. -Knowledge of employment best practices and recruitment metrics. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. -Proven experience sourcing and attracting engineering professionals. -Occasional travel is required for career fairs, conferences, and on-site recruiting events. -Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. -Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Ability to set up and participate in activities, which may include squatting, bending, and lifting. -Strong understanding of industry roles (civil, construction, etc.). -4+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or related technical industries. -Proven ability to fill highly challenging positions through innovative and strategic recruiting solutions. -Familiarity with ATS and sourcing platforms (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
