Tasks
-Organizes workflow and ensures that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks -Expertly interprets, selects, and employs the following design codes: -Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff -Monitors employee productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching -Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations -Oversees team operations and the daily workflow of the team -Communicates information from leadership to employees and vice versa -Sets goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicates them to employees -Performs quality control of moderately complex deliverables -Recruits and hires new employees -Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy -Actively mentors others in design code deviations and interpretation -Works with market sector leaders to advance technical skills within the team

-Driving is an essential job function or a valid driver’s license is required to support legitimate business purposes -Task Specific (e.g., AutoTurn, GuideSign) -Highly efficient at providing technical solutions to the most complex challenges and guides others towards the same -Local Client - Advanced -3D design and visualizations (e.g., Revit, Infraworks) - Proficient (if applicable) -Bachelor's Degree required -PE required -Market Sector Software (AutoCAD C3D) - Advanced -Years of experience required with advanced degree: 14 years -AASHTO and FHWA - Advanced -Years of experience required: 15 years -Understands limitations of design codes and when deviation from design codes is appropriate -Master's Degree preferred -Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) - Advanced -Market Sector Software (Microstation Connect and OpenRoads) - Advanced (if applicable) -Mastery of technical fundamentals
