Process Engineer

Overview

Develop and improve manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma.

Tasks

-Manage process improvement projects from conception through implementation. -Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and production staff on best practices and safety protocols. -Analyze process data to identify trends and recommend solutions for performance enhancement. -Lead and participate in process improvement projects, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. -Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams for seamless integration of new processes. -Design and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality. -Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and safety regulations. -Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health, safety, and 5S. -Lead asset implementation in the plant, preparing design reviews and obtaining approvals. -Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of process specifications and changes.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools. -Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in manufacturing. -Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex manufacturing issues. -Work with a sense of urgency, effective communication, and speed. -Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. -Excellent leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration. -Strong project management skills for planning and executing projects to meet objectives. -Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects. -Knowledge of line balancing and time studies. -Familiarity with work instructions. -Experience in production transfer and industrial or manufacturing engineering.
