Assist in development of multimodal planning studies, transportation analyses, policy and planning analyses, and report documents for local governments, private entities, or institutional clients
Assist with development of support materials for community involvement activities
Provide support for and participate in virtual and in-person community engagement and public meetings
Data analysis, including geospatial data
Help prepare for client-facing meetings, potentially participate in meetings as needed
Perform field data collection
Analyze data and develop visualizations, mapping, and graphics to help communicate various planning findings

1-3+ years of work experience; a master’s degree in city and regional planning or a planning related field can be substituted for two years of work experience.
Short-listed candidates will be asked to provide a brief writing or visualization sample from a previous academic or professional experience
Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as ArcGIS and Excel
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in planning or a related field
Comfort working with and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
