Tasks

-Develop, implement, and enforce the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plan (SSHP). -Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for on-site personnel. -Maintain and submit all required safety documentation to the USACE and project stakeholders. -Investigate accidents and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations. -Ensure compliance with USACE safety standards, EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and company policies. -Conduct daily safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions. -Work closely with the project management team to ensure safety remains a top priority.

What You Bring

-Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Proven leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. -Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience, preferably with USACE or federal projects. -Current certifications in CPR/First Aid and AED training. -Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Course (or higher). -Thorough knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards. -Ability to maintain meticulous safety records and reports.
