Maintenance & Repair Field Foreman

Overview

Lead crew to install/repair parts on water towers, ensuring safety and welding standards.

Tasks

-Lead weekly safety toolbox meetings. -Complete daily production paperwork and review crew’s timecards. -Examines work piece for defects to ensure conformance with specifications and records data as required. -Maintain all equipment/service equipment when needed. -Ensure that all work is performed with SAFETY as the number one priority. -Lead in-person customer interactions while performing field work. -Majority of the time is spent in the field and will work in unfavorable weather conditions; both heat and cold. -Present and gather customer sign-off on required documentation. -Corrects malformation in parts and bends in metal work pieces. -Adhere to Maguire’s PPE Policy and Safety Programs. -Motivates, maintains, and encourages others to work safely, productive, quality conscious and to keep job site safe. -Lead field team assistants/personnel to perform required scope in a timely manner.

What You Bring

-Pass Maguire’s weld test (certified). -Ability to use painting, cutting, and welding equipment. -Performance/safety rigging is installed correctly and checked before each use. -Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form. -Extensive travel required. -Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. -Ability to correctly interpret specifications/drawings/Maguire prints and communicate print information to others and communicate print discrepancies back to project managers. -High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). -Frequently required to sit, squat, talk and hear. -Constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. -Strong time management skills to lead the team to complete work on time. -Two years of welding experience. -Able to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work. -Specific vision abilities. Requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. -Goal-oriented, reliable, responsible for their actions. -Required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.
