Tasks

-Exhibit Ownership; deliver shared responsibilities with team working. -Carry out project engineering related to projects (AC substation AIS/GIS bay extension, renovation & modernization of switchyard equipment / systems, Refurbishment of HVDC/FACTS Projects etc.) -Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers for necessary approvals. -HV Equipment selection & sizing / Design of Earthing system / Cable system / Bus Bar Sizing / DSLP / Sag Tension calculation / Short-circuit force calculation / LT auxiliary system / Battery and charger Sizing / Illumination system and schedule as per IS/IEEE/IEC. -Execute & analyse, design, test, or integrate required to define and support systems that meet business standards and project requirements. -RFQ / Technical Validation / Evaluation of vendor Drawings & Documents -Engineering would include primary as well as secondary electrical systems engineering. -Preparation of basic Single Line Diagram, Layout, Plan & section of Overall plant, Substation and control room arrangement, Earthing & cabling layouts etc -Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business. -components, selection of equipment with best pricing options. -Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

What You Bring

-Proficient in use of MS Office / well worse with MS excel tools. -Fast Response time to meet shared objectives. -Reverse engineering related to brown filled projects. -Exposure to QMS driven engineering processes. -Innovative, process oriented & ability to adapt as per the dynamics. -HVDC/FACTS integrated project applications. -Co-ordination and integration with Automation, Civil ,MEP & Execution Team. -Knowledge of Control & Protective Relaying and automation systems used in switchyards and MV/LV power distribution systems. -Working experience with 3D Design Tools. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, from an accredited college or university with a minimum 5-8 years of experience on project engineering. Strong understanding of Power System Engineering. -Engineering & design has to be carried out according to international standards (as applicable in the country of destination of the project), apart from following Indian standards for local projects. -Flexible and quick to learn global developments in renewable technologies and adopt. -Understanding of Control & Protection schemes / Interlocking logics / SAS / DCS -Knowhow of IS / IEC codes, safety in design/EHS aspects, AC substation industry engineering practices.
