OLE Design Engineer

Overview

Design and produce OLE engineering drawings, calculations and reports for rail projects.

Tasks

-Maintains effective communication with the Senior/Principal Engineer with all project matters. -Collaborative working within current discipline & other engineering disciplines to achieve the best solution for the project. -Production of high-quality engineering design drawings & documents with compliance with technical assurance.

What You Bring

-Capable of delegation to technicians and other junior members as lead designer. -Experience in use of CAD software. -Proficient in the Microstation CAD Package. -Minimum BEng / BSc in a relevant engineering subject. -Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. -An understanding of Engineering principles and the role of Engineering Standards (British Standards, Network Rail Standards etc.) -Membership of relevant professional institution. -Ideally you will have appropriate experience of OLE engineering design /consultancy. -Applies professional knowledge and experienced judgement
