Tasks
-Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. -Support project transitions by briefing construction teams on scope, budget, and project assumptions. -Oversee cost estimating, value engineering, and budget development. -Lead subcontractor outreach, qualification, and bid solicitation. -Analyze bids, negotiate pricing, and recommend subcontractor selections. -Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design issues. -Review and evaluate design documents, drawings, and specifications for constructability and completeness. -Lead the pre-construction process from initial concept through final handoff to operations. -Develop and manage pre-construction schedules and milestones. -Prepare presentations, proposals, and detailed project reports for clients and stakeholders.

What You Bring
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Pre-Construction Manager to lead our project planning and estimating efforts. In this role, you will oversee all pre-construction activities, ensuring our projects are accurately scoped, well-coordinated, and ready for a successful start. You’ll collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to drive clarity, cost efficiency, and strategic decision-making before construction begins. -Proficiency with estimating and pre-construction software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Sage, ProEst). -Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems. -Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred). -Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. -Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or in a senior estimating/project management role. -Strong budgeting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. -Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
