Tasks

-Execute change order analyses and reviews -Conduct electronic take-offs on various architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems -Prepare cost estimates in-house using software and estimating programs for Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) projects based on conceptual and schematic design, development, drawings, and construction documents -Provide technical reviews of project constructability design and analysis -Meet with clients and designers to discuss cost implications and justifications

Your ability to translate designs into accurate estimates and collaborate with project teams will directly support high-impact federal projects. -Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities -Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies -Travel 10% – typically once a quarter for short durations (2-5 days) after first year -Certified Cost Professional (CCP) Certification -Detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to work independently and within a team environment -Experience on design-build teams for commercial and industrial construction projects -Minimum of 5 years’ experience preparing cost estimates and conducting takeoffs -Professional Engineer (PE) License -Knowledge of OST, PlanSwift, RSMeans, or other relevant software
