Tasks
-Support cross-disciplinary lab activities and mentor technicians. -Manage data acquisition, reduction, and documentation of results. -Build strong, long-term client relationships while solving their toughest challenges. -Work hands-on with cutting-edge materials and processes. -Continuously grow your expertise, not just in science, but also in business and leadership. -Consult directly with clients to define testing programs and technical approaches. -Write professional technical reports and deliver findings to clients. -Lead mechanical investigations on diverse materials and products. -Set up, execute, and interpret a wide range of mechanical tests. -Contribute to laboratory procedures, audits, and quality compliance. -Occasionally support the commercial team with technical scopes and client inquiries.

What You Bring
-Ability to understand and interpret diverse test standards and client requirements. -A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams. -Excellent communication and technical writing skills to clearly present findings to clients and colleagues. -A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred). -U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (due to client requirements). -Strong knowledge of mechanical test methods and standards, including tensile, flexural, bend, creep, Charpy, and strain analysis. Load frame experience strongly preferred. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
