Tasks
Field Payroll Support -Provide support to the Compliance Department as needed, helping maintain up-to-date records and documentation. -Act as a backup for Field Payroll data entry and processing as needed. -Sorting, distributing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail. -Greeting visitors and answering incoming calls. -Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports accurately and on schedule. -Perform daily AP data entry for assigned vendors, ensuring accuracy and proper coding. -Participate in maintaining the office Pantry and Kitchen area on a rotating basis with other AP team members. -Provide front desk coverage as needed, including: -Ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions for field employees. -Fuel Schedule: Maintain fuel tracking and reconciliation schedules. -Serve as the Certified Payroll Champion, overseeing all aspects of the CP process. -Upload certified payroll information to various general contractor portals and ensure compliance with applicable requirements. -Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed, collaborating with team members based on invoice volume. -Fleet Schedule: Support the Fleet Manager with vehicle IDs, maintenance tracking, and related documentation. -Maintain various accounting schedules, including:

What You Bring
Certified Payroll (CP) Administration -3+ years of accounting, payroll, or related experience, preferably within the construction or electrical contracting industry. -Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing workloads. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and capable of learning new accounting software systems quickly. -Proficiency in Accounts Payable processes, including invoice entry, coding, and vendor management. -Familiarity with multi-union payroll and fringe benefit reporting is highly preferred. -High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. -Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and professional attitude. -Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll laws/regulations. -Working knowledge of Certified Payroll and prevailing wage requirements, including experience with platforms such as LCP Tracker and the California DIR system.
