Overview
Customer service rep handling sales, orders & client relations for coil coatings.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction -Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns -Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales -Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction -Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors -Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed -Assist in sales projects like price increases etc. -Complete contact activity reports -Setup and maintain customer files -Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions -Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability -Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint -Conduct ongoing customer needs, analysis, research of customer requirements through first party resources. -Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles -Generate new & repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner -Obtain and provide accurate information relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery -Follow company policies and procedures -Provide accurate information regarding scheduling and availability of items

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize & multi-task -Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software -Provide track record of consistently achieving or exceeding goals -Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, sales environment -Proficient to advanced computer skills with Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and Outlook -Superb communication and interpersonal skills -Detailed oriented & able to work independently -Customer focused with exceptional telephone sales ability -Superior customer service & selling skills. -Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
