Project Controls Lead

Tasks

-Train and coach project team members to ensure best practices -Escalate concerns in a timely and effective manner -Verify documentation of constraints and delays, assessing their impact -Ensure effective documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including start-up, team, and close-out meetings -Ensure consistent application of best practices in scope, schedule, cost, and risk management -Assist in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with installation methodologies -Participate in site-level coordination and scheduling meetings -Assist with subtrade activity coordination and monitor operational readiness -Provide direct support during the commissioning phase, including schedule consultation and coordination -Monitor quality control plans and perform spot checks on logs, photos, and records -Lead the delivery of project controls across assigned electrical technology and IMIT projects, including Nurse Call, RTLS, Audio Visual, Public Address, Intercom, Security Systems Telecommunication, Structured Cabling, and Video Surveillance -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant processes, systems, and tools -Support accurate progress reporting and encourage use of standardized JES templates -Review monthly FLR and JSR documents and communicate any discrepancies

What You Bring

-Strong coaching and training abilities -5 years of scheduling experience in electrical, security, or healthcare systems deployment, preferably in construction -Ability to read and provide feedback on project schedules -Adaptability to organizational change -Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field -Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Solid grasp of project financial concepts and reporting -Proven safety record with no infractions related to live work or lockout procedures -Experience with tools such as Procore, OpenSpace, Fieldwire, Smartsheet, and SharePoint -Strong understanding of access control, networks, and IMIT systems
