Overview

Drive a 20‑ton CDL truck to transport materials, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Tasks

-Works as a team member with other employees within the facility to ensure a smooth and safe operation. -Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time. -Assist with equipment maintenance as needed. -Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Shelly Company employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule. -Verifying material types being transported & ensuring they do not exceed weight restrictions -Maintains awareness of OSHA (Occupational Safety & Healthy Administration) and/ or MSHA (Mining Safety & Health Administration) regulations. -Perform all duties in accordance with DOT and company safety regulations -Performs a pre-trip and post trip inspection of vehicle condition daily as well as before and after each dump and informs management of any problems prior to beginning work.
