Assist superintendent in coordinating, supervising, and managing solar energy storage projects.

Tasks
-Coach, mentor, and train crafts -Implement a quality plan that ensures the customer’s specified performance criteria in design and construction -Supervise budget and make recommendations for subcontractors and trade partners -Ensure work teams have needed resources and support -Monitor work progress and performance of crafts, forepersons, and subcontractors -Manage site work and logistics efficiently, providing suggestions for improvement -Maintain relationships with all visitors to the site: customers, architects, union representatives, subcontractors, etc. -Implement and monitor Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program at project site -Attend and participate in project meetings, and act as the liaison between field engineers and contractors or craft workers to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications -Supervise and ensure quality control of work team, including self-performed and subcontracted work -Lead project buyout with subcontractors and trade partners -Establish and nurture teamwork environment, promoting inclusivity, and valuing diversity -Perform on-site Project Manager duties on small scope projects -Partner with the Superintendent in electrical material, equipment sizing, and site utilization plan -Facilitate and lead meetings between subcontractors related to project coordination -Work with Superintendent in development of project schedules and updates, and creation of 3 week look-ahead

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience -Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies -Ability to travel up to 100% to remote locations (keep home base wherever you choose) -Current driver’s license -Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills -Microsoft Office, MS Project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Experience with self-perform projects -Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices -Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills -Minimum five years construction/supervision experience, working with medium and high voltage projects -Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
