Construction electrician for underground mining projects, installing and testing electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, catenary, throughout underground environment. -Ensure correct earthing, bonding of electrical systems across all installations. -Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation. -Installation and terminations of High voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables -Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.

What You Bring

-Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months) -Excellent attitude to safety -Experience as a fully qualified electrician -Underground and or mining experience will be highly regarded -Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License -Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner -White / Blue Construction Card -Current Electrical License -Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech -Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) -High-risk work License (with WP class)
