Electrical Inspector

Overview

Inspect and ensure quality/compliance of electrical works on Dubai high‑rise projects.

Tasks

-Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental aspects. -Maintain accurate daily site records, including progress photos, and ensure availability for inspection when required. -Prepare surveillance and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as necessary to document site deficiencies. -Coordinate with the team to ensure successful project handover. -Assist the Electrical Engineer in performing the site related duties. -Ensure effective coordination between electrical works and other related disciplines. -Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections and ensure works are completed to the required quality standards. -Inspect and verify testing and commissioning of MEP equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project requirements. -Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements. -Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) and take appropriate action promptly in timely manner. -Report any works not carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
