Overview

Experienced fitter reads blueprints, welds, builds fixtures, ensures quality on steel projects.

Tasks

-Operate shop equipment as needed for the job -Set up welders and other shop equipment -Follow all company safety rules—everyone goes home safe -Build fixtures and other aids to improve workflow -Check materials to make sure they meet customer specs and our quality standards -Help train and guide newer crew members -Keep your work area clean and organized

What You Bring

-Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication -Must be able to read blueprints, run equipment, weld, and burn -High school diploma or GED -Valid AWS D1.1 Certification required
