Tasks

-General Yard Duties: Perform various yard duties as instructed by the Yard Supervisor. -Supporting Traffic Management: Provide clean cones, filled sandbags, and signage that are fit for purpose to traffic management operatives. -Organising the Yard: Return all yard equipment to their correct locations, including pedestrian barriers, signs, cones, and sandbags. -Adhering to Procedures: Follow all company procedures regarding quality, health and safety, and environmental issues. -Maintaining Equipment: Clean, re-sleeve, re-base, and security mark all cones to ensure they are in top condition. -Battery Management: Secure, account for, and charge all batteries in accordance with company procedures. -Quality Control: Visually check all signs and cones for damages upon return from the site and log any issues. -Creating Custom Signage: Fabricate special signage as required for specific works. -Preparing Equipment: Ensure the correct quantity of traffic signals are ready and fuelled before collection by traffic management crews.
