Tasks

GCL is looking to hire a Material Engineer who will be responsible for planning, tracking, and flagging activities, manpower, plant, machinery, and costs—including engineering, procurement, and execution. Monitor cost control activities, report costs incurred, and calculate cost-to-complete (CTC) including manpower, materials, plant, and machinery to ensure projects remain on budget. -Generate reports including Cost-to-Complete (CTC) Reports, Productivity Summaries, Wastage Summaries, and Updated Project Timeline Reports, ensuring timely submission. -Provide data to the Planning Manager for reports as required. -Review and verify project data and link it to the program to measure progress accurately. -Review and calculate expenditures to date, enter balance quantities and prevailing rates in coordination with the Accounting Department for cost reports. -Log wastage and submit weekly summaries for management review.

What You Bring

-Strong coordination and communication skills across departments. -Minimum Experience: 5 years in planning and cost control within construction projects. -Expert in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications. -Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent project planning software. -Proven experience in cost control and project tracking. -Minimum Qualification: B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
