Tasks
This is an opportunity to significantly impact the final product quality and technical compliance of outstanding new communities. -Quality & Handover: Manage the commissioning process and final quality inspections, ensuring comprehensive O&M manuals and completion documentation are delivered for successful project handover. -Site Support: Act as the internal M&E expert, providing technical support and guidance to the site delivery teams, focusing on installation quality, testing, and commissioning activities. -Design Management: Oversee and manage all M&E design coordination for multi-phased residential developments, ensuring technical compliance, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards are met. -Technical Compliance: Review, challenge, and approve M&E consultants' and sub-contractors' design proposals, specifications, and technical submissions. -Stakeholder Coordination: Interface effectively with the project development team, architects, structural engineers, and external M&E contractors.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage the full mechanical and electrical lifecycle from design through to completion across our diverse developments. -Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to manage technical risk and value engineering opportunities. -Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services, relevant statutory regulations, and British Standards. -Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in managing M&E design on significant residential construction projects (e.g., housing estates, apartment blocks, mixed-use schemes). -Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. -Experience gained within a Developer environment is highly desirable, but candidates with a strong track record from an M&E Consultancy or Contractor working on residential schemes will also be considered.
