Tasks

-Serve as Engineer of Record and mentor junior staff. -Perform system calculations, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and equipment selections. -Develop construction documents and job-specific specifications. -Ensure compliance with codes such as NFPA, ASHRAE, and IBC. -Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction inspections. -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients. -Design fire protection and plumbing systems (e.g., sprinkler layouts, fire pump sizing, piping, sanitary, medical gas, domestic water heating, ductwork).

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Fire Protection/Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This critical role involves researching, developing, and producing mechanical construction drawings while applying expertise in industry concepts, practices, and procedures, with potential consultation on complex projects. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and driven individual with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, effectiveness, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. -High proficiency in computer-aided design tools and software. -Experience: 8+ years as a licensed professional engineer -Computer Skills: Revit, Auto CAD MEP, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office Suite, Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D -Certified Plumbing Designer (Preferred) -Licenses/Certifications: Current PE License NCEES Registration Licensed in at least one U.S. state -LEED, Green Globes, or other sustainability credentials (Preferred) -Travel: up to 20% depending on project -Healthcare Experience Is Required -Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)

Benefits

Salary Ranges: $120,000 - $180,000 Pay range and compensation package
