Tasks

-To comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times. -Ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that not only legislative requirements are met but equally industry standards are observed relating to portable electrical equipment. -To maintain accurate Time Sheets and Mileage Logs as required. -To work with company and ASDA colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times. -In the absence of the National Electrical Manager the Head of Health and Safety will provide direction of tasks and workload. -To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments. -Undertake any additional works as required by the Regional Electrical Supervisor or in the post holders absence the Head of Electrical Safety or alternatively working on your own volition during periods of holiday and sickness or other absence from the business). -To ensure correct paperwork and asset registers are completed during site visits. -To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with City and ASDA colleagues. -Have an understanding of, and day to day responsibility for, the health and safety and other statutory requirements relating to portable electrical equipment -Cover ASDA stores throughout the area nominated for the post holder. -To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with the IST and ASDA colleagues. -Ensure the electrical test equipment in use is calibrated annually
