Tasks

-Perform air, soil, soil vapor, groundwater sampling and IRM/remediation of contaminated properties; -Assist with the planning and execution of field investigations by logging borings, collecting samples, installing monitoring wells, performing field tests, and collecting and recording data. Perform routine and special calculations; -Perform field inspections and environmental investigations; -Identify and implement solutions to both routine and more complex field and/or laboratory problems and accurately document results; Communicate with supervisor on any problems encountered on project sites; -Field oversight of IRM/remediation activities and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with job specifications; -Assist with the preparation of daily field reports, technical reports, specifications, and plans; data management and evaluation; and environmental assessment and remediation; and

What You Bring

-0-2 years of work-related experience; -Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation access to remote job site locations; and -Excellent written and verbal communication skills; -Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Geology; -Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; -Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; -Availability to work overtime as needed. -Minimum GPA of 3.0; -Strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn; -Prior relevant internship or professional work experience preferred;
