Tasks

-Produce complete construction documents (drawings + specifications) for capital projects. -Mentor and supervise upcoming young professionals pursuing EIT/PE/SE within the company. -Design varying structural systems for a wide range of building typologies with a focus on Industrial facilities. -The majority of work is in an office setting, with intermittent sitting, standing, walking, occasional site visits, and some travel.

What You Bring

-Ability to prioritize work -Knowledgeable of up-to-date construction methodologies and applicable building codes. -License: PE or SE in South Carolina, with capability of reciprocity to other states -Ability to manage budgets and maintain schedules -Requires Bachelor of Science or above in Civil Engineering -Skills & Knowledge: Revit, AutoCAD, STAAD, RAM, RISA 3D, preparation of specifications, submittal / shop drawing review, field observations / inspections -Reverse-Engineering capabilities to assist with building and selective demolition. -Experience: 5+ years relevant structural engineering design experience -Advanced problem solving skills
