The Role

Overview

Plan and lead environmental remediation projects, field work, and reporting.

Tasks

-Initial CSM development, data review, and data analysis. -Identify and offer valuable insight into long- and short-term environmental dilemmas. -Assist with the preparation of summary reports and regulatory forms, as needed. -Identifies applications of knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems and can identify and break down obstacles for execution success. -Collect detailed information for all field activities to provide vital data in the report development process. -Assist, review or prepare work plans, corrective action plans, and less complex technical reports. -Maintain and expand professional knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networking. -Conduct, supervise, and/or cross-train staff during on-site activities. -Support project managers and senior staff with complex tasks. -Manages multiple priorities and consistently delivers results within their managed scope. -Oversee 3rd party contractors. -Conduct remediation feasibility studies and pilot testing, initial design of remedial equipment and aquifer characterization. -Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.

What You Bring

-Experience working with State Regulations and related entities. -Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools -Valid Driver License -Demonstrates an ability to lead cross-functional project teams. -Experience as a Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist in the Environmental industry. -Strong communication ability with peers, management, and clients. -Demonstrates independent problem-solving abilities to analyze and resolve complex situations with minimal assistance. -Knowledge of Environmental Remediation. -2-5 years of experience in the environmental field or lab setting. -High attention to detail and organization -2-5 years of experience in oil and gas or environmental firms. -Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field, or relevant experience. -Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field. -Project management experience. -Strong technical writing skills.
