Tasks

-Maintain communication with the production team to ensure workflow and resolve issues. -Follow programmed instructions from Robotic Welding Programmers to ensure consistent, high-quality welds. -Work on major structural steel projects using cutting-edge equipment. -Operate a dual-robot gantry welding system with tandem arc capabilities to fabricate structural steel components. -Perform setup, calibration, and maintenance of robotic welding bays. -Uphold workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised environment.

What You Bring

-Extensive experience in welding (manual or robotic), or structural steel fabrication. -A transition into the sole afternoon shift robotic operator role once trained and confident. -Familiarity with tandem arc or multi-wire welding. -Experience with robotic or automated welding systems. -Knowledge of AS1554 and steel fabrication industry standards. -Mechanically minded with an aptitude for troubleshooting. -Physically capable of handling structural components and standing for long periods -High attention to detail with a commitment to quality. -Strong communicator and team player. -Basic computer skills to navigate robotic interfaces (training provided). -Conformance to weld procedures and AS1554 welding standards.
