Tasks

We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity for a Delivery Scheduler up until the end of August 2026. This role supports the planned and integrated delivery of WTA operations by improving efficiencies through safe and vigilant oversight of the delivery programme. -Provide scheduling advice to resolve planning challenges -Generate CAR numbers in Submitica and monitor approval status for TMC visibility -Regularly report delivery progress and prioritise safety for all -Support crews and subcontractors by effectively coordinating access and TTM requirements -Keep the works schedule accurate and updated -Ensure timely communication of daily closures to stakeholders -Communicate weekly work schedules to make the most of planned TMPs, closures, and opportunities -Flag and communicate any risks associated with schedule changes -Coordinate with the Communications Team for comprehensive external updates -Manage and update the master Forward Work Programme for integrated operations -Work with Project Managers to maintain an up-to-date programme in Wrike for all stakeholders -Advise subcontractors on closure timings and details

What You Bring

All successful candidates must under-go and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen. You’ll demonstrate strong initiative and a proactive mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment while contributing to running a highly performing roading network. -Excellent written and verbal reporting skills -Full current class 1 driver’s licence -Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (preferred) -Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both within and external to the Alliance -Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering road maintenance works, including within high-capacity motorway corridors -Strong operational data entry, information management, and IT skills, including proficiency in specialised project management tools
