The Role

Tasks

-Assist with the development of standard operating procedures -Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of laptop and IT peripheral hardware configuration and issuance for all staff members and remote sites, ensuring compliance with company security policies. -Assist with access control system, alarm system, and video monitoring solutions -Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information -Oversee IT Onboarding and Offboarding procedures, ensuring the security, compliance, and efficiency of user access and asset management. -Installing and configuring named-user and network licensing -Travel by flight and/or vehicle to remote offices -Manage in-person organization, inventory management, and secure storage of IT equipment and supplies, including making purchasing recommendations and documenting asset lifecycle -Utilize specialized technical knowledge to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues, often requiring independent judgment and advanced problem-solving techniques. -Assist staff with use of Printers, Plotters and Scanners -Execute the technical logistics of all desk and office relocations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and optimal setup of the network and computing infrastructure. -Create and organize IT documentation -Assist staff with remote conferencing solutions -Maintains accurate and complete records -Operate a wide variety of computer hardware and software as well as standard office equipment and quickly learn the use of new technologies and applications -Perform proactive routine maintenance and system checks -Oversee the provisioning and deployment strategy of laptop and IT peripheral assets across all company locations to ensure operational readiness and standardization. -Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise-level peripherals and conferencing solutions, advising staff on advanced features and developing user training and best practices

What You Bring

We have an immediate need for an exempt, full-time IT Administrator to work at our San Francisco headquarters, Napa, or Petaluma. The IT Administrator will assist with various IT duties under the direction of the Director of Technology and must be able to support all staff, regional offices, subtenants, studios, and subsidiaries. -Ability to read and interpret written information, and follow instructions -Works well and communicates effectively with others -Frequently required to sit and use a computer -Beginner Firewall management -Must clear a background check -Ability to prepare reports, correspondence and memos -Regularly required talk and hear, and stand and walk -Ability to perform in a high pressure, quick and dynamic environment -Open office-noise level in the workspace is generally moderate -Working knowledge of Google Workspace Administration -TCP/IP Networking -Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. -Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize, multi-task and use time effectively -Windows 10 & 11 -Ability to read, interpret and collect technical documents -Ability to analyze and solve problems -Own a part of the firm with ESOP eligibility after one year -Microsoft VBScript -Windows Server 2016+ -Ability to travel once or twice a month -Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems -Works independently under general supervision, uses initiative and good business judgment -Active Directory management -Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years working IT experience or 5+ years of experience in the IT industry -Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio) -Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills -MacOS 15 Sequoia -Working knowledge of remote monitoring and management solutions
