Hexagon (SPIN/SPEL/SPID/S3D) - Application Administrator

Administers and supports Hexagon applications, handling issues, updates, and integrations.

Tasks

-Manage your assigned ticket queue. -Identify proactive solutions for recurring technology occurrences to benefit the business -Collaborate and interact with various stakeholders including the ICT team -Work on and close out tickets in the Hatch Zendesk System -Provision of 1st Level Application Support. For example, user administration or project set-up issues -Work closely with application development teams and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications -Undertake integration between various systems using available API's and web services -Provide technical support Hexagon software components in a complex mission critical environment -Maintain application configuration documentation -Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned -Lead and participate in efforts to implement application updates to include upgrades, patches and new releases -Lead and participate in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring -Display and execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods -Adhere to standards and processes for systems in Hatch -Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions -Identify and resolve medium to highly complex production problems for support of applications -Manage, support, and resolve complex software, vendor and proprietary technical issues

What You Bring

-Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels -Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the Information Technology field -Demonstrated soft skills required such as presentation of ideas and ability to clearly articulate the concepts to senior management -Excellent verbal, written communication and ability to work well with others -Experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness -Experience with at least one of the following Hexagon platforms: -Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools -Understand software and hardware requirements of varied departmental systems -Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications -Bachelor’s degree and equivalent combination of education, training or work experience -Understand the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems -Willing to work after hours as part of a global team -3 years hands-on experience in application administration and operational systems support (day to day operations including installation, upgrade, configuration, trouble shooting, debugging, patching)
