Tasks
-Oversee day-to-day performance of assigned assets, partnering with leasing, property management, and marketing teams to drive long-term value aligned with investment strategies. -Conduct advanced financial analysis including Argus models, Excel-based pro formas, cash flow projections, and municipal incentive evaluations. -Lead lease-up, stabilization, and performance of multifamily assets by guiding internal and third-party property management and leasing teams. -Support dispositions and financing efforts by serving as the asset expert. -Assist with onboarding new acquisitions through lease review, financial analysis, and due diligence. -Perform market research and ad hoc analyses as needed.

🔹 Please note: This is not a property management role — we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and drive high-level asset strategy and performance while managing and influencing operational teams. On behalf of our client, a nationally recognized, privately held real estate developer and owner with a diverse portfolio of mixed-use, retail, office, healthcare, and multifamily assets, we are seeking an Asset Manager with a strong blend of financial expertise and operational leadership to effectively drive the lease-up and ongoing performance of a large multifamily community, while supporting a broader portfolio across various asset types. This role is based in the Chicagoland area. -Strong communicator with high professionalism and responsiveness. -High integrity, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset. -Experience across asset types, ideally including retail, multifamily, mixed-use, office, and healthcare. -Bachelor's degree required; strong academic track record preferred. -Advanced financial modeling skills (Argus & Excel). -Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Proven leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. -5+ years in commercial real estate, asset management, or banking, including 3+ years overseeing multifamily lease-ups and operations. -Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
