Tasks
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. -Report time and attendance -Perform preventative maintenance -Inspect the physical condition of the property and report any problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager -Make daily inspections of the community -Maintain an positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activities -Be available on weekends and after hours for emergency calls -Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment -Maintain active and effective communication with residents and parents -Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information -Identify and address safety and security risks -Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies -Assist with the maintenance operations and repairs of the property -Develop a sense of community among the residents and staff -Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with organizing and implementing a successful turn -Understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuations policies and procedures, providing emergency response and referral services and resources -Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement -Ensure service requests are completed in a timely manner

What You Bring
-2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair -The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Computer literacy preferred -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. -Must have excellent communication and people skills -HVAC certification preferred -Understand and adhere to the Landmark Properties policies and procedures
