Site Manager

Overview

Lead caretaking team, manage subcontractors, ensure school facilities run safely & efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Supervise External Providers– Arrange access, escorting, and supervision of external contractors by the caretaking team. -Monitor Sub-Contractors– Oversee cleaning and grounds subcontractors, support local supervisors, and drive service improvements. -Ensure Health & Safety Compliance – Oversee H&S standards for caretaking and sub-contractor activities. -Track Staff Attendance & Leave– Monitor timekeeping, absences, approve leave, and ensure adequate shift cover. -Maintain Records & Stock Levels – Keep accurate logs of tasks, performance, overtime, and advise on stock/equipment needs. -Plan and Oversee PPM & Reactive Tasks – Schedule and track planned preventative maintenance and ensure reactive tasks are completed within SLAs. -Coordinate with FM & Stakeholders– Liaise with FM, school staff, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and identify improvements. -Manage the Caretaking Team – provide direct line management, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure job descriptions are fulfilled.
