The Role

Overview

Conduct and supervise topographic & geodetic surveys for railway projects.

Tasks

-Utilizing GNSS, total stations, and LiDAR technology to establish control networks and ensure high-precision mapping for design and construction -Ensuring compliance with local and international survey standards, maintaining data accuracy, safety protocols, and thorough documentation -Integrating survey data into BIM platforms and GIS systems to facilitate digital engineering workflows and coordination -Coordinating with civil and rail systems teams to provide as-built data, boundary demarcations, and construction staking -Conducting detailed topographic and geodetic surveys in diverse terrains, including desert and mountainous areas -Monitoring and verifying earthworks, bridge foundations, and tunnel alignments to ensure adherence to design tolerances -Supporting route alignment studies by identifying optimal corridors and minimizing environmental and engineering constraints

What You Bring

-Excellent data management and reporting skills. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. -Good verbal and written communication skills in English. -Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction standards. -Proficient in using Total Station, GPS/GNSS systems, Digital levels and laser scanners, Drones/UAVs for aerial mapping and photogrammetry -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction supervision, preferably within a PMC environment. -Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
