Tasks

-Encouraging and collaborative team environment. -Install and inspect equipment to meet customer expectations and manufacturer specifications. -Prepare reports on daily activities -Complete mileage and monthly vehicle reports on time -Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing, as well as troubleshooting potential field wiring problems -Manage assigned Electronic Systems service calls regarding field labour hours estimated -Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost-effective method for restoring a particular system to normal condition

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of personal computers (Windows 10, Server 2016) and Microsoft's suite of Office software -Security experience with C-Cure 9000, Kantech, Genetec, Lenel/S2, Milestone, Exacq, Avigilon, DSC, Commend, AIPhone -Field coordination and communication, system programming, integrations, commissioning, AHJ testing, and training on new system installations -Comfortable working in an environment that may involve climbing ladders and scaffolds with equipment -Experience with installation and service of access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems -CCURE 9000 or Genetec certification -May be required to work out of town -Demonstrated a high level of customer service -Experience with Servers and different operating systems -Must adhere to all JCI safety policies and procedures -Read and understand complicated blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, software/system programs, and operation/product manuals -Required to work at heights – Ladders/AWP -Working knowledge of IT network systems -Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communication devices as required -Ability to work effectively independently -Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs -Ability to read and understand complex building architectural and electrical documents, as well as project plans, specifications, schedules, and equipment installation/operation/troubleshooting manuals. -Capable of working in cramped workspaces such as ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. -Minimum high school/trade school graduate, 2-year Associate degree in a technical field involving electronics or computers preferred -Demonstrated working knowledge of electricity and electronics -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Able to carry and move equipment/tools weighing up to 40 pounds -Ability to work on an Aerial Work Platform
