Tasks
As Seasonal Color Manager for our dynamic landscaping company, you’ll lead the creation and execution of eye-catching seasonal displays. You will design custom color programs, select plants, oversee installations, manage resources, and consult with clients—all while ensuring healthy, long-lasting beauty that elevates corporate campuses and commercial properties. -Operational Management: Oversee herbicide/pesticide applications, track supplies and equipment, and ensure installations stay on schedule and on budget. -Design & Planning: Create innovative seasonal color schemes for pots, beds, and landscape features using annuals, perennials, and complementary elements. -Client Consultation: Advise property managers on maintenance best practices, pest/weed control, and enhancement strategies to maximize program longevity. -Quality Assurance: Monitor installed displays, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to maintain peak visual impact throughout the season. -Plant Selection & Sourcing: Choose high-performing varieties, manage vendor relationships, and maintain inventory of plants, soils, and materials within budget. -Installation Leadership: Schedule, train, and supervise crews to execute designs with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail.

In addition to the technical skillset we are seeking an individual who shares our core values of Communication, Relationships, Excellence, Execution and Developing our People (CREED). -Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field preferred; hands-on seasonal color design and crew leadership required. -Client Consultant: Strong diagnostic and advisory skills in pest/weed management, irrigation, and color program enhancement. -Communication & Initiative: Excellent oral/written skills, customer-focused approach, and self-starting, results-driven mindset. -Creative Designer: Proven experience crafting seasonal potted displays and flower beds that deliver bold, cohesive aesthetic impact. -Operations Leader: Skilled in material ordering, inventory control, crew scheduling, and budget-conscious installation oversight. -Plant Expert: Deep knowledge of annuals, perennials, soil science, herbicides, pesticides, and regional growing conditions.
