Tasks

Attend site visits with the pre-construction team. Develop measurement and pricing strategies. Manage development site appraisals, reviewing constraints, risks, and opportunities. Update financial appraisals at key development stages. Undertake take-offs and measurements. Produce initial appraisals for tender opportunities. Support value engineering and negotiation exercises where required. Assess Planning / S106 requirements for financial implications.

What You Bring

The successful professional will have experience working directly for a house builder or on residential developments for a contractor. Strong communication skills with a positive team attitude are key to fit in with the existing culture. As Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in producing accurate land appraisals and pricing a variety of housing developments, ranging in size and complexity. This role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively with the Land and Commercial teams.
