Tasks

-May prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. -Handles the obtainment of zoning approvals, building permits, and other required government approvals. -Coordinate with brokers and property owners to identify potential development opportunities -Participates in weekly conference calls and meetings with key internal and external partners as required -May perform due diligence activities for potential acquisitions with assistance from risk management departments. -Supports the completion of complex projects by partnering with a team comprised of real estate brokers, attorneys, architects and engineers, surveyors, consultants, general contractors, owners, lenders, and municipal/regulatory representatives for successful project execution -Assists with the portfolio review, due diligence process, project schedules, and budgets -Researches and identifies demand trends and potential markets for new development sites. -Supports the real estate team with site acquisitions and securing project entitlements/permits with understanding of the project strategy and potential risks -Performs various types of administrative tasks associated with development, including but not limited to, the preparation of due diligence memos, site plan review summary, PowerPoint presentations for internal/external project approvals, and other requirements as needed -Supports project contracts and agreement negotiations, as needed -Evaluates market research to identify trends, opportunities, and demand for land in target areas. Analyzes demographic data, economic indicators and zoning regulations to assess market viability -Confirms compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines by coordinating with finance and legal teams. -Coordinates architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project plans are completed on time and within budget.
