Tasks

-Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on production equipment. -Complete and record TPM and quality checks to ensure consistent product quality. -Record production, quality, and productivity data accurately. -Use precision tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and gauges to measure and verify quality. -Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following plant safety policies and practicing 5S. -Read and interpret blueprints, control charts, and specifications; convert metric to inches when needed. -Apply basic root cause analysis when solving issues. -Set up and operate machines to run production at specified rates. -Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment while leading operators in your area. -Run CMM reports and make machine adjustments as needed. -Work with engineers, inspectors, and maintenance teams to keep equipment and processes running effectively. -Train and support new associates on machining processes.
