Tasks

-Develop P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications -Support procurement, construction, and commissioning phases -Promote sustainable and low-carbon design solutions -Collaborate with civil, electrical, ICA, and process engineers -Design mechanical systems for treatment plants, pumping stations, and sludge processes -Select and size pumps, valves, blowers, compressors, and pipelines -Ensure compliance with BS EN, ISO, WIMES, and CDM regulations -Conduct hydraulic calculations and energy efficiency assessments

What You Bring

-Strong communication and documentation skills -Prior work with UK water utilities or international projects -Familiarity with WIMES, BS EN 806, BS 5955 -Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward it -Knowledge of BIM workflows and digital twin technologies -3D modelling and clash detection (e.g., Navisworks) -3–7+ years in wastewater or water infrastructure design -Experience with rotating equipment, pressure systems, and pipework -Experience with sludge treatment, biogas, or renewable integration -Skilled in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or Revit MEP -Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc)
